At CES, LG announced that it will be launching its $12,000 OLED 84-inch TV in the United States this March, and orders are available now. LG certainly won that battle when it showed its 84-inch 4K 3D 84LM960 television. This is LG's first 84-inch Ultra HD TV.
LG will also be releasing other 4K TVs including a new 55-inch and 65-inch models and a version of that with multi-touch interaction.
Every TV will launch with full smart TV capabilities, which means it will work with your smartphone, your internet connection and include several apps for users to choose from.
In addition, LG announced that it will stop producing CCFL televisions in its LCD TV line and that it is moving 100% LCD TVs, so that every LCD they sell is LED-lit. All of its TVs would be Energy Star certified, as well.
